BioFilter Media (a division of Bark and Soil Growing Media) is a leading supplier of both organic and non-organic biofilter media for the control of environmental odours in bio filter beds.
Biofiltration is an energy-efficient technology for the control of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Biofiltration controls odours from wastewater treatment facilities and other odour-producing operations. This process uses engineered biofilter mixed blends of natural carbon and trace elements to create an active biological bed through which VOCs are passed.
BSGM has supplied biofilter blends to some of the most challenging odour control projects within the North Island. We were selected as the preferred supplier for media for one of the largest odour control beds in New Zealand at Mangere Waste Water Treatment Plant in Auckland.
